What is core drilling?

When you need to create a precise cylindrical hole in a concrete surface - such as a wall or a floor - core drilling (sometimes known as concrete coring) is the service for you.

Aside from concrete, core drilling can also be used to drill circular holes in other solid surfaces, including stone, masonry or asphalt.

Using the core drilling technique, we cut through the surface in question using a specialised core bit that attaches to the end of a core drill, using diamond-tipped segments that allow us to drill a perfect round-shaped hole.

From horizontal surfaces to vertically inverted or angled objects, core drilling delivers a high level of precision when cutting through concrete or other surfaces.
